Our mission is to help our Veterans and Law Enforcement Officers with suicide prevention and PTSD issues by taking them and their families on an ocean kayaking adventure.

We use specialty equipment - Hobi Kayaks provided by Tim Boyer of Pure Water Sports, in Dana Point. CA. In February 2013, the Department of Veterans Affairs released a study showing every day 22 veterans commit suicide. I decided to do something about it; that's when vetspaddle.com was born.

As the previous owner and operator of "Rentals and Tours", located at the William Randolph Hearst Memorial State Park Beach, of San Simeon , CA., I spent 5 years launching customers at a popular central, California beach break: I have extensive experience in kayak surfing, instructing and equipping individuals and groups, to experience the amazing waters of the Pacific Coast. 

Paddling a Kayak in the ocean is better for rehab than just being on a boat or a beach

Veterans and Law Enforcement Officers need a support system to help regain what they’ve lost. It’s hard for a them to explain to a civilian what's happened to them, and the camaraderie out on the ocean is invaluable. Vetspaddle.com, is a free program and is completely reliant on community and corporate donations. This program fills a vital need for the community in Southern California.
